Are you interested in making a positive impact within the Fox Cities Region of Wisconsin? Do you have limited time and resources to give? Would you like 100% of your donation to go to the charity? If so, then Power of 100+ Fox Cities is the group for you!
POWER of 100+ offers two levels of membership. An “Individual” Membership is the most commonly selected. Women of any age can join as an Individual Member. However, we have created another level of membership. The “Kit” Membership is designed to encourage younger women philanthropic participation. A Kit member must be 30 years of age or younger to join.
Individual Member Commitment is $400 per year (4 quarterly checks of $100 each)
Kit Member Commitment is $200 per year (4 quarterly checks of $50 each)
Current members (members up to date with quarterly donations) can nominate any number of charities for the Impact Award as desired. All charity submissions must be submitted three weeks prior to the quarterly meeting and will be reviewed by the Leadership Committee for eligibility prior to being added to the approved list. A list of approved charities with descriptions of their mission/purpose is available on our website.
Three charities will be chosen and then voted upon at each quarterly meeting. The charity receiving the majority vote will receive the “Impact Award”. Voting ballots will be handed out at registration just prior to the meeting. Individual and Kit Members are allowed 1 vote per meeting. You must be a committed member prior to the start of the meeting in order to vote on the charities presented.
Checks are made out to the winning charity, so 100% of your tax-deductible donation goes directly to the chosen charity. If you are unable to attend a meeting you may send your check to the meeting with a fellow member or mail it in. All donations must be received no later than five days after the quarterly meeting. Please do not mail your donation check directly to the charity. We need to make sure you get credit for your donation and remain eligible for voting at future meetings.
